Main Production Equipment
Housed in a modern 5,500 sq. foot factory is a range of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic presses, up to 160 tonnes pressing capacity, in conjunction with precision strip feeders and powered decoilers and levellers.
The range and type of machinery is such to enable efficient and reliable manufacture of high speed mass production requirements and also accommodate complex multi-stage progression tooling.
Storage
Extensive facilities exist together with established procedures to ensure the safe retention of: customers tooling, raw material, work in progress and ancillary equipment; all of which are carefully housed and clearly identified to ensure easy retrieval for immediate use.
Production Specialities
Particular expertise extends to the production of pressed parts as follows: - bracketry and heat sinks for the electronics industry. Terminals, eyelets, and connectors for the automotive industry. A wide range of component parts for use in electrical accessories, appliances and control gear.
Vast experience exists also in the employment of ancillary processes such as assembly, spot-welding, tapping, threading and screwing, enabling us to provide an efficient service in the supply of complex assemblies as completely finished units.
Materials
Pressed components are manufactured from prime quality metals obtained from approved suppliers and include pre-coated or uncoated mild steels, carbon steels, stainless steels, aluminium alloys, brass, copper and phosphor bronze in coil, strip and blank forms.
Post pressing finishes available through approved suppliers include electroplating, degreasing, heat treatment and powder coating.
Quantities
Small volumes for tooling design or samples for approval of tooling can be provided. A diverse range of customer requirements from modest quantities of a few thousand to mass-productions runs of a few million can be accommodated
